At Eugene Friends Church, we feel blessed to have such a wonderful place to worship and come together as a community. We open our doors to those who wish to use our various rental spaces for social events and gatherings of all types.
Shelter in the Grove & Friends Community Garden
Our beautifully constructed Shelter in the Grove provides an ideal space for an outdoor event - regardless if the weather is sunny or stormy – in all situations, you’re covered! This good-sized covered space is available for family gatherings, potlucks, weddings, memorials, and more.
The Friends Community Garden offers glorious outdoor settings with beautiful backdrops and inviting trellises. Throughout spring and summer, this venue is filled with blooming flowers and climbing plants. Ideal for an intimate outdoor ceremony or event.
Fellowship Hall Rentals
Eugene Friends Church rents its Fellowship Hall, Fireside Room, and Kitchen to groups and organizations for all kinds of events like meetings, anniversaries, receptions, birthday parties, etc.
Classrooms and Offices
Eugene Friends Church has quite a few classroom style rooms available for small events, workshops, and classes. We also offer office space for ongoing rental needs.
Weddings

Pick up an application from the church office and return it with the deposit at least three months in advance of the requested
date of the wedding.

Meet with one of the Rental Coordinators to discuss fees, access, and amenities.
Building Use Process
It is the intent of the Eugene Friends Church to make the entire church facility available to benefit those within our community under guidelines set forth by Church.
In addition to members, local organizations and individuals may request the use of the church building. Our first priority is to church member needs and church programming. Priority is then given to non-profit groups that are supported by the church and then to other non-profit organizations.
Approval for the use of the facility does not constitute or imply endorsement of a group, their mission, or their positions.
Groups or individuals approved to use the Eugene Friends Church facilities are not to advertise the event in such a way as to imply endorsement by Eugene Friends Church. No activities may take place that conflict with the beliefs or practices of our church.
Facility usage is limited to the space(s) agreed upon in the Facility Use Agreement.
Requests for facility use are managed through the church office and Facilities Manager.
Steps to facility use and scheduling:

Review the Facilities Use Policy and Rules, which can be obtained from the church office or at the link below.

Contact the church office to discuss fees and complete a Facilities Use Agreement and Release Form with all fees and waivers deemed appropriate. No commitment for building use is finalized until the Facility Use Agreement has been returned, approved and signed by all parties.
